It’s a classic and very usual problem when choosing and buying the right sleeping sofa : find a comfortable bed sofa where it is stylish, lightweight, not too expensive and offcourse comfortable.
Today, both comfort and style are easier to find in a bed sofa. Gone are the massive, bulky sofas who broke his back while moving. New on the scene are elegant, stylish sofas that do not rely on the old folding spring, but are European style and click the “bed” concept sofa. In some cases, these layers appear closer to a futon sofa, except with a touch more sophisticated and more varied appearance. In most cases, they offer a lot of sleep surfaces higher than in lumps fold out springs. Ouch. We are pleased that the furniture designers have finally figured this one out!
Bo Concept offers a modern sleep sofa with air pump that boasts a boxy contemporary and classic look with wide arms. We could find no pictures of this one, (refer to the Bo Concept website) but it is similar in styling to Bo Concept’s Spaze sofa bed below.

Lower slung and more contemporary in feel is the Blu Dot One Night Stand. (Below). Remove the back cushions and flip the seat forward to become a queen sleeper that rests on the ground. The price point is higher on this one at
$1799.

When choosing a bed sofa, keep in mind that the sofas with the construction of wood slats for the bed frame will be much more comfortable than the old box springs. This explains the continuing popularity of futon frames. Be sure to test your couch time to sit and sleep, because the feeling of the sofa can change dramatically depending on what you do about it. Look for sofas that you do not have to struggle to open it. The sofa should be converted to a bed in one motion essentially smooth. Look for sofas with strong support not only need a mattress thicker.
One of the more recent ties on the market is the sofa Clark (below) offered by West Elm. We saw it in person and were pleasantly surprised. The sofa does not look like a sleeper, but rather a retro 60s than mid-century, fans find attractive. Coming in at $ 999, the sofa is also an affordable solution for those watching the budget.
