The designer said “Two upper cabinets used as a bench in the kitchen. We laid the cabinets on a piece of cover panel that was placed on the ground. We used the cover of the panel to give us just a little more height. We then used Ikea butcher block counter on top for the seat, then put a padded seat cushion on top. We used the cover panels as the back to provide a definition and to function as a seat easy to clean the back.”
