From outside, the expectation that creates an image entering the restaurant invites Sofia, designed by architect Fernando Bernal. A window from side to side, that the architect is very scenic “a box”, a glimpse of what goes on inside. The aim was to create an enveloping space where they could occur
several things.
Is the bar as the center of attention, tables ready for the Service and other environments around sofas, ideal for sharing a few drinks, but all within a very flexible design that allows the restaurant to adapt to any event. The character of the input gathered in contrast to the openness of the space inside. A sofa that extends throughout the site connects the living room with patio, which can be seen from the second floor. The metal staircase leading to upper level, constitutes an ingredient interesting design.
From the outside becomes a fundamental element of the view that is offered through the rectangular window and is making work a body of water and rocks that make up an interesting
visual finish. The interior of this restaurant of 300 square meters was made by Juanita Echeverri.

Shamu, renewed tradition
Renew a restaurant with 18 years of life in terms of design is not easy. We had to take up certain elements that were hallmarks of the place, as the revolving door that identifies the site, the presence of elements such as wood and water, earth and fire. Thus, the architect Alejandro Carrizosa, in partnership with
Carlos Campuzano Botero became the greenhouse in an environment surrounded by gardens where you eat under a canopy with a pergola made with club.
To accentuate the warmth, they turned to bricks and refractory bricks and the walls left without trousers, among other things. The color of the place was handled by Marta Lucia Dewis, who developed a series of paintings with floral motifs that are emerging in some corners of the frame and walls are made.
